At WHCC, we believe that marriage is instituted by God from the creation of humanity as the lifelong union of one man with one woman for the blessing of people and the glory of God. We believe children are a heritage from God, and that parents are called to impress the love of God in their hearts and bring them up to love, worship, and serve HIM by their examples and words.
Ultimately, we believe that all of our efforts in our marriages and families require complete dependence on God, as highlighted in Psalm 127:1: “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”
