The 40 days before Easter Sunday, known as Lent, have held special significance for Christians. It is a time for personal reflection, fasting, and prayer in preparation to celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

As we prepare our hearts for the Holy Week of Easter, W invites you to join in reading through a selection of Scripture on God’s redemptive plan through the sacrificial death of Jesus the Messiah and culminating with the passion narrative in Matthew. Click here for the reading plan.

The 40 days of Lent begin on Wednesday, February 22, and lead up to Easter Sunday, April 9, not including the Sundays in between.

Every summer, the Houston area Chinese churches host a summer youth camp. Youth will get to spend several days learning about Jesus, making new friends, and having a great time.
