This will be a summer-long class led by Pastor Andrew, in which we will investigate what it truly means to be God-centered, and why that is the only route to deep, lasting, indomitable joy.

Register here and join us in Room 153 at 9:30am on Sundays from June 9 to August 25.

Summer College Fellowship is happening! All current and incoming college students are welcome to meet at Pastor Andrew’s house at 7:30 pm on Thursday nights. The first meeting will be on Thursday, May 30. College students, please click here to RSVP.

Are you interested in finding a place to serve locally this summer? Come and join us at the Mission of Yahweh, a Christian faith-based women and children’s shelter that focuses on ending the cycle of homelessness and dependency.

This summer, we plan to go in groups on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm from June 12 to Aug 14 to watch and discuss an Alpha video each week, as well as to sit with, listen to, and pray for the women, their kids, and their needs. We believe that when we do this, we live out our faith in being the hands and feet of Jesus, and that we “learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” (Isa 1:17) If you are interested in participating or have questions, please email community@whcchome.org!

Elevator usage will be temporarily suspended from May 29 to June 29, as the church elevator is being upgraded. Thank you for your understanding.

Update: The project has been basically completed. However, as it still needs to go through the final acceptance stage, it will be ready for normal use on 6/30, which is one week later than the originally expected date of 6/23. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this delay may cause and thank you all for your understanding and patience.

We pray that you are all safe and well, and thank you for your patience as we have been monitoring the situation around Houston. Given that at the time of this writing, both WHCC and Spring Brook Village (the 6K venue) are still without power, and given that many of our W members are dealing with various storm-related issues, we decided that postponing the World Vision 6K would be best thing to do.
We will be connecting with Spring Brook Village to determine the best time for a rescheduled date, and we thank you so much again for your heart to run and fellowship together for such an important cause. Please take good care this weekend, and for those who have registered, we will be sending out information about a new event date to you as soon as we can.

Download our WHCC mobile app in the App Store or Google Play! On it you will find access to our weekly sermon outline, announcements, resources, and prayer bulletins. You can also register for classes/events or manage your giving straight from the app.

Visit our Jobs page for more information regarding these and other job listings currently open at W.
