Are you interested in finding a place to serve locally this summer? Come and join us at the Mission of Yahweh, a Christian faith-based women and children’s shelter that focuses on ending the cycle of homelessness and dependency.
This summer, we plan to go in groups on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm from June 12 to Aug 14 (skipping July 24 and 31) to watch and discuss an Alpha video each week, as well as to sit with, listen to, and pray for the women, their kids, and their needs. We believe that when we do this, we live out our faith in being the hands and feet of Jesus, and that we “learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.” (Isa 1:17) If you are interested in participating or have questions, please email community@whcchome.org!
