Dear W family,

Praise God for our annual Global Ministries Conference this past weekend! We heard the call to go out and proclaim the good news, opportunities to partner together to reach our city, and stories of God’s faithfulness in bringing people to Him through our steps of faith.

Also, we praise God for COVID continuing to decrease in our city. This week, in light of two consecutive weeks of meeting level 1 triggers based on the Texas Medical Center metrics, we have moved into level 1 of our COVID recovery plan, effective 3/7/22. As a reminder, in level 1:

• Mask wearing is optional; and
• Check-in for contact tracing is no longer required.
  

While we are entering into a new phase of this pandemic, let us continue to care and minister to one another during this time, especially to those who are vulnerable to the disease as well as those who continue to suffer from the effects of the pandemic.

I am so thankful for our COVID team, our church council, and all of our coworkers, teachers, and small group leaders who have faithfully co-labored together to this point, in faithfully answering the call the Lord has put on them during this difficult time. The Lord has been gracious as we’ve strived to honor our unity as a diverse church.

Please continue to pray for COVID to decrease in our city, for our community to have understanding with these decisions, and for our church to continue living out our mission of welcoming sojourners home to the joy of following Jesus together!
